Surprised I h...I seen you post this one a bit back. Surprised I haven't made a comment to it yet? After glancing over what your wrote again, I know what I wanted to say;

So you prefer TF3 over this one. Well on the gameplay department from what I recall of playing both (beat TF3, but for this game I kept chocking on the last level before I decided to just give it a break, lol, cause my heart kept thumping hard >_>;;), I prefer this game more. So far at least. The main factor is the same reason as to why I prefer Gradius series over R-Type; more spontaneous over more memorization type thing based gameplay. One thing that made me really enjoy this game very much when I was playing it. Though TF3 kinda grew more and more on me as I played it more... and may continue to every surpass this game, who knows?

Of course the graphics and sound of this game is for me personally top notch stuff of the early 90's. They don't make 'em like this anymore, sadly. Not to mention the feel and style. Sigh. Thinking about the good ol' days in this category can make me very sad... and feeling old.

I also get very impressed by how systems back then via clever/smart programming overcame system limitations + really pushed them. Always get a kick out of this for consoles of 32-Bit era and backwards. Namely for NES, PC-Engine and Sega Genesis & Saturn. And this game makes the PCE looks really great. Plus always love when dev's make the PCE do lots of parallax scrolling, of course. Ditto for Genesis too, of course.

Music wise, I'm pretty sure I prefer this game's soundtrack? As for me TF4 and some tunes in TF2 are were the tunes stick out to me more for that series.

- SinfulAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8742813618758333424.post-16987994209942146092014-02-13T10:22:12.959-02:002014-02-13T10:22:12.959-02:00You're welcome.
