The plasma gun does not exist on the FM Towns version for obvious reasons (only 2 controller buttons), but the Sega CD also throws in a power-up scheme that's very important for you to survive. Plus the choice between 3 pick-ups is interesting and creates extra tension.
I haven't tried the PS1 and 3DO versions yet, but I certainly will someday.Edwardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17491361099947592597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8742813618758333424.post-6551813857308009032014-08-01T10:00:13.368-03:002014-08-01T10:00:13.368-03:00:)

I guess the stills I saw tricked me well, or I was too sleepy then...
Text will be immediately corrected.
And tks for mentioning Japan on this, it skipped me as well. So remember, there's no Sega version of Novastorm for the land of the rising sun, kids! :)Edwardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17491361099947592597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8742813618758333424.post-22584325804967104182014-07-31T21:30:03.832-03:002014-07-31T21:30:03.832-03:00Microcosm on 3DO is an into-the-screen shooter too...Microcosm on 3DO is an into-the-screen shooter too (= Space Harrier-like in my book ;p where rail shooters = the Lethal Enforcer-like)
Nice write-up man. This game is still in my wantlist since i have harder time to acquire Sega-CD games, = US releases, than Japanese Mega-CD games & that's one of the reasons i would have loved a Japanese release for this game!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10273282191430132287noreply@blogger.com
